Abstract

|
The commonly reported foreign bodies in paranasal sinuses were bullets, shell fragments, shrapnel fragments of windshield glass.
Diagnosis may be difficult in patients with long-standing foreign bodies when they are asymptomatic or the initiating incident has been forgotten.
Authors experienced two cases of foreign body impaction in the ethmoid sinus. One case was wooden chopstick penetrating through the lower eyelid 5 years ago, which was successfully removed via external ethmoidectomy. The other was intraethmoid
metallic
foreign body(bullet of air gun) and it was completely removed using the endoscope.
